Born and raised in New York City's infamous Queensbridge Housing Projects, Chaka writes about life from a gritty and authentic point-of-view. She's a Gates Millennium Scholar who graduated Magna Cum Laude from Temple University. She currently resides in Atlanta, GA.

Captivating

If anyone has ever lived or wondered what life is like in the projects, this book is one example of that life. Imaginative, creative, and expressionary...The vivid display of life for Chaka in this novel captures the reader to become drawn to the next page. Excellent novel for a first time author and looking forward to the prequel and subsequent works.
